‘Down To The Bone’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Jim Jones has compared writing for Quiet Riot’s new album to that on ‘Down To The Bone’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Down To The Bone isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
Pretty Pack O’ Lies is perfect and different song. All Day and All Of The Night (3:17) - awsome. Whatever It Takes is a bit of a show-tune. Simple and heartfelt closing track Wings Of A Cloud closes Down To The Bone on a high note. Trouble Again - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Down To The Bone make listening to Quiet Riot like being in some sort of time warp. VooDoo Brew is almost impossible to review. Monday Morning Breakdown - My least favorite song on this album. No Quiet Riot song has come close to capturing my attention as Live Til It Hurts did. In Twisted Quiet Riot is at his best. Overall a nice softer song. Hell Or High Water - This is a very lively song. Blew our minds when we first heard Wings Of A Cloud (Revisited).
