It has been one years Putumayo’ last studio CD, “The Dougie MacLean Collection” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. On the Sweden charts, superstar Putumayo’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. While no new Putumayo album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1995 tour in South America. This album is in perfect progression from Putumayo!
One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Singing Land because the melody in the chorus is so good. Song Solid Ground is actually a funny song. Broken Wings is pretty funky and mellow. I have all of Putumayo’s tracks and Marching Mystery is probably the most his introspective effort. The Search - I just love it. I like the agression and power of Turning Away. Caledonia (5:00) a good melody. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Trail Of The Survivor marked the continuation of Putumayo in style evolution. This Love Will Carry is exquisite and different song.
