Yo! Bum Rush The Show carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Lead single “You’re Gonna Get Yours” and “Sophisticated Bitch” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Yo! Bum Rush The Show is an amazing album, racked with beauty.I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Sophisticated Bitch is the albums biggest surprise. Miuzi Weighs A Ton as a highlight of Yo! Bum Rush The Show contains a ton of excellent melodies. Timebomb is the albums biggest surprise. I find myself hearing bits of Too Much Posse here and there throughout my waking hours. Rightstarter (Message To The Black Man) - another great track from the Yo! Bum Rush The Show album. Public Enemy No. 1 has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. M.P.E. sets the tone for the entire album. Yo! Bum Rush The Show is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. I have all of Public Enemy’s tracks and Raise The Roof is probably the most his introspective effort. Public Enemy has astounded me with this amazing track. Terminator X Speaks With His Hands is the most memorable and astounding.
