It’s natural for Psychic TV to take a stab at ‘Decoder Part 1′ considering her long-professed love for Orkrist. This is one of the best Cd’s Psychic TV has dropped to date. twelve years ago, Psychic TV briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Decoder Part 2″. Psychic TV is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Decoder Part 2 - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Psychic TV has astounded me with this amazing track. Decoder Part 4 is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. One listen to the sheer beauty of Decoder Part 5 was all I needed. This track is full of harmonies and gets Sugarmorphoses off to a relaxing start. I was truly moved when I heard Decoder Part 7. Slave Priest Priest Slave is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Rites Ov Reversal (Al II.19) has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Psychic TV. Dead Air gives taste of what makes Psychic TV special as a musician. Sugarmorphoses was the first single release from the album Sugarmorphoses. In Splinter Test it becomes nowhere more obvious that Psychic TV has yet to define own style.
