I am not a real Rock: Punk-Rock music type of person, but i have to admit ‘The Presidents of The United S’ really is amazing. sixteen years ago, Presidents of The United State briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Feather Pluck’n”. While no new Presidents of The United State album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1995 tour in Africa. The Presidents of The United S is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Feather Pluck’n is the albums biggest surprise. I was truly moved when I heard Lump. Stranger is a bit of a show-tune. I like the idea behind Boll Weevil. Peaches is the more seemingly obscure song on The Presidents of The United S that bear up best to repeated listening. Dune Buggy - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Within the first few notes of We Are Not Going To Make It it’s perfectly clear that Presidents of The United State is living this song. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Body is such a cool and optimistic song that things can get just better. I can’t stop humming along Back Porch. Nice and different song. Naked And Famous is a cool sing-along.
