Lead single “Young Splendor” and “Perfect Four” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Pond’s album Pond falls to No. 2 with 308,000, a sales slide of 52%. On Pond album, Pond have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. IT makes me wanna dance!
Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Opening track Gone shows the best of Pond. If you are a Pond fan, you will love Agatha. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Spots is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Foamy is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Pond ever produced. You have to get essence of the Grinned’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Filler is absolutely incredible.
