Since Pino Daniele last CD (Non Calpestare I Fiori Nel Deserto) on Mute Records back in 1995, I have felt a massive void in my life. Non Calpestare I Fiori Nel Deserto carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Pino Daniele must have run out of lyrics on the next track Notte Che Fai. Resta…Resta Cu’ Mme - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Album opener Angolo Di Cielo is a bright, upbeat ditty. Fumo Nero is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Nice and different song. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Oasi is the song that really did it for me. ‘O Cammello ‘Nnammurato is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Anima is perfect work of Pino Daniele. E Se Amore Sara is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Musically Stress is superior to other tracks in Non Calpestare I Fiori Nel Deserto.
