This twelve-song debut EP shows the promise that Pink Floyd has. Since Pink Floyd last CD (Pulse (Cd1)) on Blue Note Records back in 1995, I have felt a massive void in my life. IF YOU LIKE ALL Pink Floyd’S SONG GO FOR IT! Exciting stuff.
Astronomy Domine - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. What Do You Want From Me the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. If you are a Pink Floyd fan, you will love Learning How To Fly. Keep Talking is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Pink Floyd released so far. Coming Back To Life is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Pulse (Cd1) have ended. Don’t judge Hey You on the first listening. Charming song, great melody. Sorrow is a good listen every once in a while. High Hopes - another great track from the Pulse (Cd1) album. Another Brick In The Wall (Part Two) - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody.
