Pigface had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This album has some very good songs like Asphole and Divebomber. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Pigface energies, virtually a rebirth. If I may, I suggest “Asphole”. That one song is amazing!
It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Your Own You Own - This is a very lively song. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Fuck It Up, which shows, blatantly, how much Pigface has evolved as a singer. Within the first few notes of Hagseed it’s perfectly clear that Pigface is living this song. Chikasaw - This one is lively and fun. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. I now have Magazine as one of my personal favorites. In Think Pigface spins a tale you want to hear to the end. After about the third Trivial Sscene listen through, I began to believe this song is Pigface’s essence. Slut / Blood / Pain is possibly the best song Pigface has come up. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Notes From Thee Underground couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Steamroller. I believe Your Music Is Garbage is one of the most excellent, heartfelt songs ever written.
