Since completing 1993’s ‘Phyris’, Philip Martin fulfilled their contract with ForeFront Records and where under no obligation to release another album. There is no doubt that Philip Martin has talent. Since Philip Martin last CD (Syn-Classics) on ForeFront Records back in 1993, I have felt a massive void in my life. This is one of Philip Martin best albums
Once you hear Circle In Space, you will listen to it over and over. Morning Mood is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Best song on the album, love it. Miracle Boat - I just love it. Music of Silent Whispers is gentle, never overbearing. This song stands out greatly from the others. As The River Flows is a song to enjoy for years to come. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Syn-Classics. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Constant and Steady make listening to Philip Martin like being in some sort of time warp. Fire and Water is another favourite of mine.
