Lead single “Come Talk To Me” and “Steam” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. On Secret World Live (CD 1) album, Peter Gabriel have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This album has some very good songs like Come Talk To Me and Steam. Secret World Live (CD 1) is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Music in Steam is gorgeous as in all tracks of Secret World Live (CD 1). Across The River I just LOVE this mix! Slow Marimbas rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Put Shaking The Tree into car stereo for your highway driving The sound of Red Rain is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Peter Gabriel has astounded me with this amazing track. Music of Kiss That Frog is gentle, never overbearing. Washing Of The Water - For me, this is the best of the album. Solsbury Hill is the album’s biggest hit, I think.
