There is so much to love about Pet Shop Boys, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This is the first studio album from Pet Shop Boys since bad diagnosis in 1994. I am not a real Alternative music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Very Remixes’ really is amazing. Very Remixes constantly brilliant.
I Wouldn’t Normally Do This Kind (Extended Mix) is gorgeous and different song. A fantastic track full of wonder. One and One Make Five (Mad Version) - arguably the best track on Very Remixes album. To Speak Is A Sin (Cosey Mix) which is my favorite is a truly Pet Shop Boys sounding song. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Yesterday When I Was Mad (Special Version) is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. One In A Million (1000000 Version) have really caught my ear and imagination. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Liberation (Take Off Version) is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. In One Thing Leads To Another (Grandmaster Mix 89) the music gets its power.
