This is the first studio album from Pet Shop Boys since bad diagnosis in 1991. There is so much to love about Pet Shop Boys, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. To me Pet Shop Boys is the best band ever.
You have to get essence of the How Can You Expect To Be… (perfect Attitude Mix)’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. In How Can You Expect To Be… (classical Reprise) full palet of sound is used by Pet Shop Boys to accentuate the presentation. It’s Alright (7” Mix) is really the reason why I recommend buying How Can You Expect To Be Taken. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is We All Feel Better In The Dark because the melody in the chorus is so good. Being Boring (marshall Jefferson Remix) still maintains something of a specific flourish.
