four years ago, Peru briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “666 (The Beast)”. This is the first studio album from Peru since bad diagnosis in 1993. Lead single “Book Of Revelation” and “666 (The Beast)” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
666 (The Beast) is absolutely incredible. In Guru Peru spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Music in Nostradamus is excellent as in all tracks of The Prophecies. I love the melodic melody of Not Consequent and to this day it makes me feel good. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Get The Prophecies and turn on Nostradamus (Club Version) if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Book Of Revelation (Radio Vers…) is simply perfect.
