For older fans Trust will put a massive smile accross your face. Since Patrick O’hearn last CD (Trust) on Blue Note Records back in 1995, I have felt a massive void in my life. Since completing 1995’s ‘Liberty’, Patrick O’hearn fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This is what good Electronic should be.
In Two Continents the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Equinox - My least favorite song on this album. What sets Trust apart is Patrick O’hearn’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Synergy is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. The Lone Man is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. No Patrick O’hearn song has come close to capturing my attention as 3 Circles did. I have all of Patrick O’hearn’s tracks and Farewell is probably the most his introspective effort.
