Mila Sparrow has compared writing for Part, Arvo’s new album to that on ‘Te Deum’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. For older fans Te Deum will put a massive smile accross your face. While no new Part, Arvo album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1993 tour in Australia. Silouans song (1991) is beautiful, yet underrated track. Magnificat (1989) is probably one of Part, Arvo’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Kirie is astounding. The song feels complete. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. When listening to Zweiter Allaluiavers, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Veni Sancte Spiritus is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Credo. I believe Sanctus is one of the most exquisite, heartfelt songs ever written. What sets Agnus Dei apart is Part, Arvo’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres.
