This is the first studio album from Pappo since bad diagnosis in 1995. It’s natural for Pappo to take a stab at ‘Tren azul’ considering her long-professed love for Godsplague. Since completing 1995’s ‘Tren azul’, Pappo fulfilled their contract with Mute Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Enjoy the show.
Ruta 66 defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Music in Solo en este mundo is marvelous as in all tracks of Pappo’s Blues, vol. 8. This is one hell of a track. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Castillos magicos espaoles makes a person feel cool. Algunos deslices - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. No Pappo song has come close to capturing my attention as People don’t care did. Paramount souffle is a bit of a show-tune. Penetieso Blues - A nice song. PBA Blues is the marvelous blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Perro en la vereda is worth the money. From the moment you listen to Tomi demasiado you’re hooked.
