After seeing Anxiety, I had to have a good OverKill cd. It’s natural for OverKill to take a stab at ‘Anxiety’ considering her long-professed love for Green Grey. Thom Yorke has compared writing for OverKill’s new album to that on ‘Wrecking Your Neck Cd1′ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about OverKill ever.
Coma - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Fast Junkie hits the heart. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Still going through Wrecking Your Neck Cd1 and coming to appreciate Infectious more and more with every listen. Powersurge presents the perfect mix of instruments on Wrecking Your Neck Cd1. Skullkrusher is one of the best records ever. Wrecking Your Neck Cd1 couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Spiritual Void. Supersonic Hate is a bit of a show-tune. The Wait / New High In Lows great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.I can’t stop playing Where It Hurts. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Wrecking Crew is my favorite song on Wrecking Your Neck Cd1. Bastard Nation is the albums biggest surprise. Fuck You is the most memorable and cool. Opening track Gazoline Dream shows the best of OverKill. Voice of OverKill in Horrorscope is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Thanx For Nothing is another strong production from OverKill. Under One is such a marvelous and optimistic song that things can get just better.
