It has been seven years Oruc Guvenc and Tumata’ last studio CD, “Ocean Of Remembrance - Sufi Improvisations and Zhikrs” which won Array Academy Awards� and was nominated for album of the year. Oruc Guvenc and Tumata had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. On the Singapore charts, superstar Oruc Guvenc and Tumata’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
La Illaha Il Allah is probably one of Oruc Guvenc and Tumata’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Ali Gvrdum is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. This song may be the most meaningful. Veysel Qarani - I like this one. Alhamdulillah is probably the most interesting track on Ocean Of Remembrance - Sufi Improvisations and Zhikrs.
