While no new Orbital album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1991 tour in Europe. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Orbital energies, virtually a rebirth. Yellow album carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
After about the third Steel Cube Idolatry listen through, I began to believe this song is Orbital’s essence. Although Oolaa is very melodic it is far from sad. This song is dynamic and dramatic. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. I like the idea behind High Rise. Fahrenheit 303 is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Desert Storm still maintains something of a specific flourish. Chime (live) - Orbital first major hit. Belfast is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations.
