Turangalila symphonie is an amazing album, racked with beauty. This is the first studio album from Oliver Messiaen since bad diagnosis in 1992. I am not a real Classical music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Turangalila symphonie’ really is amazing. Great Classical right here!
Chant d’amour 2 is probably the highlight of the album. Within the first few notes of Developpement de l’amour it’s perfectly clear that Oliver Messiaen is living this song. First time I heard Finale was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Turangalila symphonie is Introduction. This track is full of harmonies and gets Turangalila symphonie off to a relaxing start. Joie du sang des etoiles the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Although Turangalila 1 is very melodic it is far from sad. Turangalila 2 is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Turangalila symphonie have ended. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity.
