My Soul (Kol Haneshama) is an amazing album, racked with beauty.eleven years ago, Ofra Haza briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “The Spirit Of Man”. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Ofra Haza energies, virtually a rebirth. Smart music for smart people.
The Spirit Of Man is the albums biggest surprise. It Will Come Suddenly the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. The Complete Soul is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Ofra Haza released so far. I find myself hearing bits of One Child here and there throughout my waking hours. I loved A Million the first time I heard it. By The Well Of My Birthplace is one of the best records ever. I hope to keep hearing Ofra Haza works for a long time to come. This is probably my favorite song on the album. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Your Body Dances In My Dream - I like this one.
