For older fans After the Storm will put a massive smile accross your face. After the Storm isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. After seeing Acoustic Time, I had to have a good Norman Brown cd. Enjoy the show.
I like After The Storm because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. I can’t stop playing Any Love. El Dulce Sol has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Family is worth the money. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on After the Storm. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. After you’ve listened to Let’s Come Together, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Take Me There is a striking and quite long song. The sound of That’s The Way Love Goes is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Trashman is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot.
