I am not a real folk: latin music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Gente Come Noi’ really is amazing. Self-described as folk: latin with lots of words, Nomadi comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. There is so much to love about Nomadi, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. If you want to hear real folk: latin, get this record now!
il serpente piumato is a good listen every once in a while. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is ricordati di chico. dammi un bacio is possibly the best song Nomadi has come up. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: ce un re, which shows, blatantly, how much Nomadi has evolved as a singer. salutami le stelle is so unique, as each one of the songs is. uno come noi is a striking and quite long song. ma noi no is the more seemingly obscure song on Gente Come Noi that bear up best to repeated listening. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. colpa della luna is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Music of cammina, cammina is gentle, never overbearing.
