NOFX was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from NOFX and Maximum Rocknroll together. ten years ago, NOFX briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Ant Attack”. Maximum Rocknroll isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Overall, I would highly recommend Maximum Rocknroll CD.
This song may be the most meaningful. Bang Gang is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Beast Within is the albums biggest surprise. Bob Turkee as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. This song stands out greatly from the others. Only one song from Maximum Rocknroll named Hit It Hold It Back really got me. Hold It Back one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. If you are a NOFX fan, you will love ID. Instramental is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Iron Man is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Lager In The Dark - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Live Your Life is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Memories is the first taste of the new album. Mom Rules is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. My Friends is a strong cut, one of many. No Problems has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Don’t judge Shitting Bricks on the first listening. Six Pack Girls defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. I was truly moved when I heard Too Mixed Up. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song.
