After seeing Drain You, I had to have a good Nirvana cd. Self-described as Indie with lots of words, Nirvana comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Nirvana’s album Teatro Verdi, Muggia, IT falls to No. 2 with 478,000, a sales slide of 52%. Drain You and Aneurysm is really good.
Aneurysm is a song to enjoy for years to come. In School the music gets its power. Nirvana has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Smells Like Teen Spirit is one of the coolest songs Nirvana has ever recorded. About a girl is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Polly is the funkiest number on the album. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Nirvana must have run out of lyrics on the next track Sliver. Nirvana rocks harder than ever with In Bloom. Been a son (2:13) - awsome. It’s such an underrated song. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Nice and different song. Talk to me - My least favorite song on this album. Oh, the guilt is a strong cut, one of many. Territorial Pissings is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations.
