Since completing 1991’s ‘Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam’, Nirvana fulfilled their contract with SixSteps records and where under no obligation to release another album. Nirvana’s debut, ‘Live Tits’, does not fit easily into one genre. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Nirvana energies, virtually a rebirth. Live Tits constantly brilliant.
Anuerysm - A classic Nirvana track. The sound of Drain You is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. One listen to the sheer beauty of School was all I needed. No Nirvana song has come close to capturing my attention as Floyd The Barber did. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Nirvana. About A Girl is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Polly motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Song Breed is actually a funny song. Sliver is such a marvelous and optimistic song that things can get just better. Lithium is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. This is one hell of a track. Nirvana has astounded me with this amazing track. Been A Son - arguably the best track on Live Tits album. Voice and instruments in Negative Creep complement each other. On A Plain on Live Tits is solid and easy to listen to. Blew one of the best in my collection. Although Dumb is very melodic it is far from sad. Pennyroyal Tea has a fun tempo. Endless, Nameless is nothing but pure genius.
