While no new Nirvana album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1990 tour in Europe. Since Nirvana last CD (Heaven Can Wait) on Virgin Records back in 1990, I have felt a massive void in my life. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Nirvana on ‘School’. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Heaven Can Wait.
Floyd The Barber sets the tone for the entire album. Love Buzz is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Dive - Nirvana first major hit. Spank Thru - To me, this is the best song on the Heaven Can Wait. Breed pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Scoff very upbeat. About A Girl was the first single release from the album Heaven Can Wait. Voice and instruments in Mollys Lips complement each other. Been A Son motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Vocals of Nirvana in Stain really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Nirvana offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Blew - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Aneurysm is probably the highlight of the album. I think Drain You is the best song Nirvana has ever done. On A Plain is another strong production from Nirvana. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit.
