I am not a real Indie music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Cactus Club ‘90′ really is amazing. There is no doubt that Nirvana has talent. This album has some very good songs like School and Floyd The Barber. Smart music for smart people.
Nirvana allows each song to breathe and flourish. Some call About A Girl from Cactus Club ‘90 as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. I’ve found myself listening to Breed back to back and back many times. Still going through Cactus Club ‘90 and coming to appreciate Span Thru more and more with every listen. I loved Molly Lips the first time I heard it. Nirvana has astounded me with this amazing track. Dive still maintains something of a specific flourish. Stain is a amazing, simple song by Nirvana at the top of his game. Cactus Club ‘90 couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Been A Son. Negative Creep is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Love Buzz (4:05) a good melody. Blew - a classic song.
