Souls At Zero carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Neurosis on ‘To Crawl Under One’s Skin’. This is the first studio album from Neurosis since bad diagnosis in 1992. Great Rock: Hard-Rock right here!
Souls At Zero is a very catchy tune. Zero is a marvelous, simple song by Neurosis at the top of his game. Neurosis has astounded me with this amazing track. Neurosis offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Sterile Vision. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Neurosis. One listen to the sheer beauty of Stripped was all I needed. Takeahnase is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Souls At Zero. Empty has a fun tempo.
