A Bard’s Tale isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. There were many famous songs of Nattvindens Grat available. This album has some very good songs like Introduction and The Road Goes Ever On. One of Nattvindens Grat’s best albums yet.
When listening to The Road Goes Ever On, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. The Echo marked the continuation of Nattvindens Grat in style evolution. Skyfire’s Dance still maintains something of a specific flourish. Towards The Sea - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. In Song Of The Tide Waves the music gets its power. A Lonely October Night is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Stormwind The Soothsayer is marvelous and different song. Vagabond’s Dusk - a classic song. The Two Oaks gives taste of what makes Nattvindens Grat special as a musician.
