This album has some very good songs like Val De Travers and Une Correspondance. This is the first studio album from Naked City since bad diagnosis in 1993. I am not a real Experimental music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Absinthe’ really is amazing. Absinthe is not something you should pass up.
Une Correspondance is really a nice song to relax and listen too. La Fee Verte is beautiful, yet underrated track. Fleurs Du Mal is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Absinthe. Artemisia Absinthium is just simply stunning. Norte Dame De L’oubli - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Verlaine - Un Midi Moins Dix is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Verlaine - La Bleue is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. …Rend Fou is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart.
