For older fans North of Niagara will put a massive smile accross your face. This disc has all of the essential Mychael Danna and Tim Clment classics. North of Niagara is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like North of Niagara.
Ravensview has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Remember Summer is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Old Mail Road which is my favorite is a truly Mychael Danna and Tim Clment sounding song. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Mount Nemo is my favorite song on North of Niagara. Silent Lake is a marvelous, simple song by Mychael Danna and Tim Clment at the top of his game. Avening is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Crook’s Hollow actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Mychael Danna and Tim Clment’s face. So much energy, so exciting a sound.This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Green River Formation is a good listen every once in a while. Lookout Point - another great track from the North of Niagara album.
