On The Cover carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. There were many famous songs of MxPx available. MxPx was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from MxPx and On The Cover together. On The Cover touched my soul like nothing else.
After about the third Marie, Marie listen through, I began to believe this song is MxPx’s essence. It’s such an underrated song. Although Oh Boy is very melodic it is far from sad. MxPx is hitting on all cylinders in Summer of 69. Take On Me is the album’s biggest hit, I think. You Found Me is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. You Put This Love In My Heart is worth the money.
