On Maroon album, Muslimgauze have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This album has some very good songs like Intro and Thimble Cups Of Urdu. To me Muslimgauze is the best band ever.
Opening track Thimble Cups Of Urdu shows the best of Muslimgauze. Simple and heartfelt closing track Maroon Of Gaza closes Maroon on a high note. Muslimgauze is one of artists that allow his songs like Harem Of Dogs to stand on their own and be heard. Harem Of Dogs is one of the coolest songs Muslimgauze has ever recorded. This track is full of harmonies and gets Maroon off to a relaxing start. Blood Of Salah Jadallah is another strong production from Muslimgauze. This song stands out greatly from the others. Blood Of Salah Jadallah - a classic song.
