This is the first studio album from Muslimgauze since bad diagnosis in 1994. There is so much to love about Muslimgauze, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Muslimgauze. Exciting stuff.
The sound of Freedom fighter is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Kirpan motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Galbanum tingktyur - another great track from the Blue Mosque CD2 album. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Pakastani nuclear box. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Blue Mosque CD2. Zingari is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Blue mosque hits the heart. I am Khalid al Istambuli (6:15) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. I think I am Khalid al Istambuli is the best song Muslimgauze has ever done.
