Motorhead was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Motorhead and Sacrifice together. While no new Motorhead album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1995 tour in Australia. On Sacrifice album, Motorhead have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Sacrifice is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Sex And Death. Over Your Shoulder is a strong cut, one of many. War For War is probably the most interesting track on Sacrifice. I like the idea behind Order/Fade To Black. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. All Gone To Hell is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Sacrifice have ended. Make’em Blind without a doubt is the standout song of Sacrifice. I loved Don’t Waste Your Time the first time I heard it. In In Another Time full palet of sound is used by Motorhead to accentuate the presentation. Out Of The Sun I just LOVE this mix!
