Mobb Deep’s debut, ‘Juvenile Hell’, does not fit easily into one genre. This is the first studio album from Mobb Deep since bad diagnosis in 1993. This is one of the best Cd’s Mobb Deep has dropped to date. This album is awesome.
I like Me and My Crew because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Locked In Spofford catches attention immediately, Peer Pressure is one of these floating songs. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Mobb Deep. Hold Down The Fort is exquisite and different song. Bitch Ass Nigga - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Skit #2 is a very catchy tune. I find myself hearing bits of Stomp Em Out here and there throughout my waking hours. Skit #3 is simply excellent. Lyrics of Peer Pressure (The Large Professor Remix) are precise and evocative. In Project Hallways it becomes nowhere more obvious that Mobb Deep has yet to define own style. Flavor For The Non Believers is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track.
