Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Mo-Do on ‘Eins, Zwei, Polizei’. This is one of the best Cd’s Mo-Do has dropped to date. There is so much to love about Mo-Do, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. If you love Mo-Do as much as I do, then Mo-Do Was Ist Das is the CD for you!
The song feels complete. Song Gema Tanzen is actually a funny song. I’ve found myself listening to Liebes Tango back to back and back many times. Fur Dich, My Love is absolutely incredible. As always, Mo-Do’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Das Konzert is simple, dignified and effective, Mo-Do refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. It’s such an underrated song. Super Gut (remix) gives taste of what makes Mo-Do special as a musician. Eins, Zwei, Polizei (remix) is a very catchy tune.
