It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Mike Stern energies, virtually a rebirth. Since Mike Stern last CD (Is What It Is) on EMI Records back in 1994, I have felt a massive void in my life. Lead single “Swunk” and “A Little Luck” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. IF you love Mike Stern, ‘Is What It Is’ Mp3’s is the best!
A Little Luck is another favourite of mine. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Showbiz is pretty funky and mellow. Believe It is really the reason why I recommend buying Is What It Is. Wherever You Are is nothing but pure genius. Ha Ha Hotel - This is a very lively song. Signs is so unique, as each one of the songs is. This song is dynamic and dramatic.
