There is no doubt that Michel Sardou has talent. Michel Sardou was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Michel Sardou and Integrale (1990) together. Lead single “Mam’selle Louisiane” and “L’award” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Mam’selle Louisiane and L’award is really good.
Charming song, great melody. Only one song from Integrale (1990) named Marie-Jeanne really got me. Parlons de toi, de moi very upbeat. Le blues black brothers (4:53) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. L’album de sa vie is a very catchy tune. La maison des vacances is probably one of Michel Sardou’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. I loved Le privieee the first time I heard it. Au nom du pure is a strong cut, one of many. Le viteran stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty.
