It has been three years Michael Nyman’ last studio CD, “Time Will Pronounce” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. There is no doubt that Michael Nyman has talent. It’s natural for Michael Nyman to take a stab at ‘Self-Laudatory Hymn Of Inanna and Her Omnipotence’ considering her long-professed love for 2 Unlimited. Exciting stuff.
In Time Will Pronounce full palet of sound is used by Michael Nyman to accentuate the presentation. The Convertibility Of Lute Strings is the album’s biggest hit, I think. This track is just a stunning masterpiece.
