It has been sixteen years Michael Garrison’ last studio CD, “Live Vol. 2″ which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Michael Garrison was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Michael Garrison and Live Vol. 2 together. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Michael Garrison on ‘Daydreams’. Live Vol. 2 touched my soul like nothing else.
In The Elliptical Sun Michael Garrison is at his best. I was truly moved when I heard Beyond The Cosmic Horizon. To The Other Side Of The Sky - Okay, I just talked about depth. The Search is a perfect, simple song by Michael Garrison at the top of his game. Crystal Moon - another great track from the Live Vol. 2 album. Theme To The Earth-Star gives good insight into the truths. Airborn on Live Vol. 2 is solid and easy to listen to. Overall a nice softer song. Escape is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Live Vol. 2 is Landsdowne Cruise.
