This is one of the best Cd’s Metal - Various Artists has dropped to date. one years ago, Metal - Various Artists briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “South Of Heaven (Cemetary)”. There is no doubt that Metal - Various Artists has talent. Captor Of Sin (At The Gates) and South Of Heaven (Cemetary) is really good.
Charming song, great melody. Mandatory Suicide (Crown Of Thorns) is a exquisite song and it grows on you. Antichrist (Dissection) is absolutely incredible. Don’t judge Criminally Insane (Edge Of Sanity) on the first listening. Jesus Saves (Enslaved) pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Black Magic (Hypocrisy) is nothing but pure genius. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Enslaved - Slatanic Slaughter (Tribute). Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Enslaved - Slatanic Slaughter (Tribute) is Crionics (Merciless). Post Mortem (Seance) is probably one of Metal - Various Artists’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to.
