This is the first studio album from Melvins since bad diagnosis in 1994. Melvins was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Melvins and Prick together. For older fans Prick will put a massive smile accross your face. Prick touched my soul like nothing else.
Rickets - This is a very lively song. Pick It N’ Flick It gives good insight into the truths. Melvins offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Chief Ten Beers is probably one of Melvins’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Underground is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Get Prick and turn on Chalk People if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Punch The Lion - Check out that bassline! Pure Digital Silence is really the reason why I recommend buying Prick. Larry is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing.
