John Digester has compared writing for Masterboy’s new album to that on ‘Feeling Alright’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. On Feeling Alright album, Masterboy have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. There is so much to love about Masterboy, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Feeling Alright.
Feel My Life is the astounding blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Hey, Hey, Hey (You Around Me) is a marvelous sing-along. Where Are You Now Boy is such a astounding and optimistic song that things can get just better. Listening to Reach Out - I’ll Be There you can hear that Masterboy has still amazing chemistry with band members. I listened to the opening track Fall In Trance (Organ Mix) and liked it a lot. Come On Come On (I Feel Inside Me) is a medium tempo tune. Cause We Do It Again (’93 Version) is another favourite of mine. Welcome To The Future Of Paradise is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Fall In Trance (Remixed By Bass Bumpers) - a classic song. Nice and different song.
