After debuting at No. 1 last week, Massive Attack’s album Protection (Single) falls to No. 2 with 144,000, a sales slide of 52%. This is one of the best Cd’s Massive Attack has dropped to date. I wish that “Protection (Single)” album was instrumental.
Voice and instruments in Protection (7″ Edit) complement each other. Protection (Underdog’s Angel Dust Mix) is the funkiest number on the album. Protection (Radiation For The Nation) - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Protection (The Eno Mix) is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Simple and heartfelt closing track Protection (J Swift Mix) closes Protection (Single) on a high note.
