It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Marshall Law energies, virtually a rebirth. Marshall Law’s debut, ‘Powergame’, does not fit easily into one genre. On Powergame album, Marshall Law have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Chain Of Youth
Chain Of Youth is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Dead Zone is worth the money. Edge Of The World had me crying as I was able to relate so well. From the moment you listen to Leviathan you’re hooked. Naked Aggression is a bit of a show-tune. No Justice gives taste of what makes Marshall Law special as a musician. This is probably my favorite song on the album. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Searching For Paradise is my favorite song on Powergame.
