This album is a scorcher!
Assassing is so unique, as each one of the songs is. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Sugar Mice is a medium tempo tune. Hotel Hobbies is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Warm Wet Circles is simple, dignified and effective, Marillion refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Once That Time Of The Night gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Once you hear Kayleigh, you will listen to it over and over. Lavender is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. You have to get essence of the The Last Straw’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. After about the third Incommunicado listen through, I began to believe this song is Marillion’s essence.
