Marillion’s debut, ‘Brave (CD 2)’, does not fit easily into one genre. Self-described as Rock: Hard-Rock with lots of words, Marillion comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Now signed to Marillion’s ForeFront Records, the title track from second album “Brave (CD 2)” leads Marillion’s back-to-school campaign. Such great and happy songs.
I’ve found myself listening to Marouette Jam back to back and back many times. The Hollow Man is outstanding work of Marillion. Winter Trees is simply marvelous. In Alone Again In The Lap Of Luxury Marillion spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Runaway is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. The first time I listened to Living With The Big Lie I was struck by its excellent sound. Charming song, great melody. Dream Sequence is the albums biggest surprise.
